We are immensely proud to have recently been involved in delivering the Oldland Common residential scheme in Bristol, a specialist development providing supported living accommodation for individuals with severe mental health needs and disabilities.

On this transformative project for Elim Housing, TCRC were chosen in collaboration with Bauder Flat Roofs and Melhuish & Saunders Limited to provide a complete roofing and waterproofing solution. This included a Bauder single ply membrane system to the flat roof areas, incorporating non-combustible Rockwool insulation.

In addition, we welded the solar PV modules onto the roof surface, ready for connection by the specialist electricians, and then installed an extensive green roof system to all roof areas. This added an attractive and environmentally friendly finish, encouraging local biodiversity and indigenous species to thrive.

The mission of this scheme is to deliver homes that will change people’s lives, providing a positive impact and a home-like environment for residents who require support with key aspects of everyday living.
