This refurbishment project recently completed by the TCRC Team was at Fusion Point 2, a Grade A office building situated in the newly formed Cardiff Central Enterprise Zone. Here the specification called for a flame-free, liquid waterproofing solution and Garland UK's Dura-Walk PMMA System was ultimately selected. As part of this project, a special electric heat gun supplied by Imperial Thermal Engineering was utilised to aid with the natural drying process of the roof surface. [...]

Another excellent project recently completed by TCRC in the education sector is Ashcombe Primary School in Weston-super-Mare. Here we were selected by main contractors @John Perkins Construction to deliver the roof waterproofing works on a major new extension and sports hall that were being built. We’ve recently completed a great project for The Corsham School in Wiltshire. Following a successful £660K CIF funding allocation, the school were able to address the urgent waterproofing issues that were effecting teaching activities on a daily basis. On this project TCRC removed and responsibly disposed of the existing failed roofing, before installing 1,850m2 of Bauder Flat Roofs Total Roof System, including fully upgraded thermal insulation. Another fantastic project we’ve recently been involved in is Okehampton Hospital in Devon. Here we’ve been working in conjunction with Arque Ltd to install over 2,500m2 of pitched roof tiling from BMI Redland. The new system also incorporated upgraded thermal insulation to help lower heating bills for the hospital, whilst elsewhere we have installed a number of Velux AOV Rooflights and carried out specialist leadwork across the building. We are very pleased to announce that TCRC has successfully secured the Silverthorne Lane Plot 6 project in Bristol. Working with Bauder Flat Roofs, we will be installing a range of products onto this exceptional carbon net zero residential development, including BUFR, green roofing and hot melt waterproofing on to a non-combustible Raaft landscaping system.
