Feature Project: St. Francis Primary School, Nailsea

Our latest case study features St. Francis Primary School in Nailsea, North Somerset. Here TCRC were selected to upgrade approximately 350m2 of waterproofing on both the courtyard flat roof and internal pitched roof areas. Working closely with manufacturers Garland UK and client Hookway, we installed a brand new built-up felt roofing system with enhanced thermal insulation, ensuring that the building remained watertight whilst also improving the U-value to 0.18. Project Update: Midford Manor

We’re making excellent progress on the Midford Manor retirement living development in Bath. Our Operatives are currently installing the SIGA Natural Slate onto the mansard roof areas along with leadwork detailing to the dormers and gables. Project Award: Pegasus Bath Leat

We’re delighted that TCRC has been selected to install a range of roofing and waterproofing systems on the fantastic Pegasus Bath Leat retirement living development. Located between Upper Bristol Road and the River Avon, the project commenced in October 2021 and TCRC are currently waterproofing the large podium slab utilising Radmat Building Products Ltd’s hot melt system incorporating ProTherm Quantum insulation. Feature Project: High Kingsdown Flats

Our feature project for January is the High Kingsdown residential development in Bristol. Here, TCRC were recently selected to install a complete roofing and waterproofing solution from Garland UK. After removing and responsibly disposing of the existing waterproofing and chipboard deck, TCRC Operatives installed a new 18mm OSB substrate incorporating tapered gutters throughout. Midford Manor Retirement Living Project

Howecroft Court Residential Project

Howecroft Court is a residential building in Bristol on which TCRC were chosen to install over 800m2 of Garland's Stressply Flex built-up felt roofing system. Specialist removal and replacement of asbestos soil vents was also required along with the installation of new lightning conductors and access hatch. El Alamein – A Project to be Proud of

At this time of year, we are proud to reflect on the El Alamein War Memorial project in Egypt that was completed by the TCRC team back in 2020. Unveiled in 1954 by Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery, the El Alamein cemetery contains more than 7,200 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War, of which more than 800 are unidentified. RUH Hospital Bath

When a number of key buildings on Bath’s Grade II listed RUH Hospital needed an essential waterproofing upgrade, TCRC were appointed to install a high performance solution. The works primarily involved overlaying the existing asphalt roof and, for logistical and practical reasons, a two-layer bituminous roofing system from BMI Icopal was chosen as the most convenient and effective solution. Feature Project: Pinesgate Commercial Offices

Our project of the month for September is the fantastic Pinesgate commercial development in Bath. Each of the two large roofs measured approximately 1,400m2 and TCRC were appointed to provide a complete strip-up and refurbishment solution. The new system incorporated Bauder Flat Roofs' Sprint Duo VCL, 120mm foil-faced insulation and a layer of Bauder’s Thermofol fleece-backed PVC waterproofing membrane.
