Our latest case study features St. Francis Primary School in Nailsea, North Somerset. Here TCRC were selected to upgrade approximately 350m2 of waterproofing on both the courtyard flat roof and internal pitched roof areas.
Working closely with manufacturers Garland UK and client Hookway, we installed a brand new built-up felt roofing system with enhanced thermal insulation, ensuring that the building remained watertight whilst also improving the U-value to 0.18.
Cold-applied self-adhesive membranes were specified in all potential fire-risk areas in accordance with the NFRC’s Safe2Torch Guidelines. TCRC Operatives also installed new rooflights, new UPVC fascia, lead cloak detailing and new rainwater gutters as part of the school’s programme of improvements.
All works were successfully delivered on time and within budget, ensuring that both the client and the school were delighted with the final outcome!
